Abbie Boudreau, a reporter for Cable News Network, has been focusing on a running documentary about right wing activist youth. Her work captivated the attention of conservative video provocateur James O’Keefe. O’Keefe, who became well-known for posing as a pimp in an undercover video sting of ACORN, hatched a plan to embarrass Boudreau by luring her into a conversation in which he would attempt to manipulate her in front of hidden cameras. One of O’Keefe’s co-conspirators had a change of heart and warned Boudreau of the ruse.
Abbie Boudreau avoids O’Keefe’s innovations
Abbie Boudreau, as reported by CNN, is an award-winning investigative journalist who had been profiling a group of young right wing video producers. Boudreau wanted to attend a video shoot that incorporated O’Keefe. Boudreau was expected to ask O’Keefe for permission to do this. That is what the director informed her. O’Keefe wanted to use this chance so he asked Boudreau to meet him alone in person to talk about his video “Project Veritas.”. He concocted a scheme in which he would lure Boudreau onto a boat bedecked with condoms, sex toys, champagne and hidden cameras. O’Keefe just assumed he’d very easily have the ability to manipulate Boudreau to the room. He wanted to capture the tryst on camera in hopes of a viral video. As it turns out, instead of ruining Boudreau’s career, he may have ruined his own.
Listening to about O’Keefe’s conceded wishes
This process was just stopped by the executive director of O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. This was Izzy Santa. Santa intercepted Boudreau when she arrived and warned her; naturally, Boudreau did not get on the boat. The media has already found O’Keefe’s plan something to be made fun of. The Los Angeles Times had Jon Healy reporting on it. He said that O’Keefe was certainly “beyond brain dead,” when he came up with his plan to embarrass liberals. O’Keefe’s seductive techniques were made fun of by Healy. He said it would have ended up being recorded sexual harassment before anything else. He explained his plan on camera. O’Keefe said, “So, I’m going to manipulate her, on camera, to use her for a video clip. This bubble-headed bleach-blonde who comes on at five will get a taste of her own medicine; she’ll get enticed on camera and you’ll get to see the awkwardness and the aftermath.”
